- Diagnostic Steps; Step 1. Started the vehicle and verified the complaint. Step 2. Raised the hood and found the radiator reservoir cap is sitting on top of the engine cover. Step 3. Pressure tested the engine cooling system. Found the coolant flow control valve next to the reservoir bottle is broken and leaking. Step 4. Using a 5-gas analyzer checked the engine cooling system for cylinder head gasket leakage. No signs of leakage currently present (see print out). Correction – Recommend replacement of valve assembly, filling engine cooling system, bleeding engine cooling system and retest.
- Performed a visual Inspection and prepared an estimate for parts and labor.
- Removed and replaced valve. Added engine coolant and bled the cooling system. Rechecked for leaks. No further engine coolant leaks present.

- Road tested vehicle and rechecked for engine coolant leaks. No further engine coolant leaks present.
