    • Diagnostic Steps; Step 1. Tried to start the vehicle. The vehicle starts and runs. The check engine light is not currently on. Step 2. Scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. Found powertrain control module code P0335 (crankshaft position sensor "A" circuit) Step 3. Checked crankshaft position sensor connection. Connection appears normal. Step 4. Using a lab scope checked sensor output. Output appears normal. Step 5. Upon further inspection found the sensor signal is intermittently glitching. Correction – Recommend replacement of crank sensor and retest.
    • Performed a visual Inspection and prepared an estimate for parts and labor.
    • Diagnostic Steps; Step 1. Removed upper and lower steering column cover to access the ignition lock solenoid. Step 2. Checked solenoid operation and found the solenoid is staying on. Step 3. Upon further inspection found the park signal from the shifter is not being sent to the body control module to release the lock solenoid. Correction – Recommend replacement of shifter assembly and retest.
    • Removed & Replaced – CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR road tested to verified repair
    • Removed And Replaced Left Tail Light Bulb
    • Removed And Replaced Right Front Turn Signal Light Bulb
    • Removed and replaced gearshift lever and verified repair

    • Road Tested The Vehicle and found noise at slow speed when braking. Racked And Raised The Vehicle. Removed Wheels And Inspected Brake Pads, Brake Rotors, Brake Hydraulic System, Brake Vacuum System, Brake Electrical System And Brake Mechanical System, found rotors causing noise at low speed when braking. Brake Inspection (Include Specs): Front Pads Spec (2mm), Actual Left (10mm) Right (10mm) Front Rotors Spec (0.920"), Actual Left (0.940") Right (0.930") Rear Pads/Shoes Spec (2mm), Actual Left (8mm) Right (8mm) Rear Rotors/Drums Spec (0.330"), Actual Left (0.361") Right (0.365" Recommend replacing front rotors- front brake pads were replaced last visit. Recommendations:
    • Noticed fiber undercover coming apart and rubbing / (removed hanging peaces )
    • Removed and replaced the front brake rotors. Road tested the vehicle. Noise is now gone. No further problems found at this time

    • Checked Control Module for proper operation and fault codes if applicable: Checked cabin air filter condition: Plugged, installed incorrectly. Checked drive belt condition: Good Checked A/C center vent temperature and ambient air temperature: 90+ outside 90+ Checked low and high pressure readings: Low pressure (60), High pressure (150) Checked A/C compressor operation: Good Checked A/C condensor fan operation: Good Checked A/C evaporator inlet and outlet temperature difference: Same Checked A/C Condensor inlet and outlet temperature difference: same Checked A/C system for leaks: High pressure hose at compressor leaking. Recover A/C system: system only has .5 pounds Recommendations: Recommend replacing high pressure hose assembly.
    • Performed a visual Inspection and prepared an estimate for parts and labor.
    • Removed and replaced discharge hose for air conditioning, Charged system and checked system operation. Compressor is not building pressure for high side and system is not getting very cold. Recommend replacing compressor- compressor damaged due to low system charge from leaking hose.
    • Removed and replaced A/C compressor assembly. Removed and replaced condenser drier bag inside the condenser. Evacuate A/C system for 45 minutes. Recharge A/C system with R-134A refrigerant and added leak detection dye to the system. Run the A/C system to circulate the leak detection dye and check for leaks. No further leaks found. Checked A/C system pressure after service. Low side pressure (38 psi), High side pressure (196 psi). Checked center vent temperature after service (43°F). No further problem found with the A/C system.

    • Diagnostic Steps; Step 1. Check engine light not on at this time. Step 2. Scanned for codes P0456 found/ Evap system very small leak Step 4. Using scan tool commanded canister vent closed and smoke tested evaporative system and found small leak from fuel cap. Correction – Recommend remove and replace fuel cap.
    • Inspected left rear tire and found tire is low on air pressure, tire sidewall is damaged and coming apart. Upon further inspection found right rear tire has a large crack in sidewall. Recommend rear tire replacement.
    • Customer states that the rear mount light is out. Check and advise
    • Performed a visual Inspection and prepared an estimate for parts and labor.
    • Remove & Replace Front Wiper Blades
    • Removed and replaced high mount brake lamp
    • Removed rear wheels. Removed tires from wheels. Mounted new tires. Balanced wheels and reinstalled on vehicle. Torqued wheels (80 ft/lbs).
    • Drain and refilled transmission fluid
    • Removed brake fluid from fluid reserviour. Topped off reserviour with new DOT 4 brake fluid. Pressurized the brake fluid system and performed brake fluid exchange.
    • Removed and replaced cabin air filter. Disinfected and deodorized the interior A/C vents using BG frigi-fresh vent disinfectant and deodorizer.
