- Performed a visual Inspection and prepared an estimate for parts and labor.
- Remove & Replace customer supplied Front Wiper Blades
- Diagnostic Steps; Step 1. Verified check engine light is on, vehicle runs ok at this time. Step 2. Performed code scan and found P0441 evaporative system incorrect purge flow, P0442 evaporative system small leak detected, P0446 evaporative system vent control circuit, P0455 evaporative system large leak detected. Step 3. Using scan tool function and smoke tester, Commanded canister vent closed and smoke tested fuel evaporative system. Found large evaporative leak coming from fuel cap. Step 4. Installed known good test fuel cap and evaporative leak no longer present. Correction – Recommend replacing defective fuel cap.
- CABIN AIR FILTER – Remove & Replace
- Removed and replaced air filter
- Removed and replaced fuel cap. Cleared fault codes and rechecked fuel evaporative system, no other leak found at this time.
